  Don't let the cold weather get you down. Think of those warm spring & summer days catching fish telling jokes without a care in the world! OK now back to today. We would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year. Well we finally got around to writing a new report. (It's only been 3 months) We had a fantastic summer. The tuna fishing started early and never really let up. The size, overall, was quite big. And if the patten holds true, next year will be phenomenal. Most of the tuna fish caught this year were in the 130 to 200lb range. Nice size fish for stand-up and spinning gear. The ground fishing this fall has been and still is very good. There seems to be no shortage of cod fish and pollock around. The haddock fishing has been a little thin but the last few weeks there seems to be more of them around as well. This is a great time of the year to fish. It's one of those unique times when you can catch whatever it is you want to; sharks, tuna, cod, pollock, reds, etc., etc.

I would encourage anybody that is interested to start planning your trip for next year, now. We're getting alot more calls earlier than we have in the past. And if the fishing trend holds true, as I think it will, it's going to be another exciting and busy year. We're going to be fishing fairly late into December so if you still want to get a trip in for this year, give us a call. We just finished a couple of trips this week ( Oct 21st-30th) & they were great. A couple of very fat  tuna 69 inches & 200lbs plus, as well as a pile of ground fish. It sure would be great going into the winter with a freezer full of fresh fish. 

 It's hard to believe but there are still some small Bluefin around ( Dec 14th). I was talking to a couple of lobsterman in cc bay & they are still seeing them jumping " unbelieveable". Enjoy the holidays.
